Ballet Stars to shine in Varna

Three of New Jersey’s top dancers will perform at the prestigious International Ballet Competition this month in Varna, Bulgaria. Former Varna medalist Vladimir Roje will take the stage for the July 29 Super Gala Concert, “Meeting of Generations,” in which he and his  NJBpartner, Mari Sugawa, will dance Grand Pas Classique. 

 Albert Davydov will perform during the competition itself, partnering young Veronika Verterich in her bid for gold in the Junior Competition (young dancers age 15 to 19). Miss Verterich is the daughter of New Jersey Ballet principal Vitaly Verterich.
