NY Times to End New Jersey Coverage August 5, 2016 ArtPride NJ can confirm that "As of August 29th, The New York Times will discontinue the regional editions of the Metropolitan section of The New York Times, which include Connecticut, Westchester, Long Island and New Jersey. Those areas will receive the Metropolitan edition that currently circulates in the five boroughs." This means, without a regional Metro edition, readers will no longer receive the type of dedicated content they’ve come to expect from The Times, including feature articles, listings and reviews of performances, exhibitions and restaurants in New Jersey. Please take a moment to sign this petition TODAY that will be directed to the Executive Editor of the New York Times and the Editor of the Metropolitan Section. Time is of the essence as termination of features, reviews and listings will commence at the end of this month.
